Dance Instruction Rates:
Introductory Private Lesson: FREE!!
This one-half hour lesson is designed to give you a sample of private dance instruction as well as give you the opportunity to discover a dance, or dances, previously unknown to you. This will help you assess what dances may hold your interest and allow you to decide what avenues are available to helping you achieve your goals in dancing. Mention our website and you get to discover dancing for FREE!!!
Standard Private Lesson: $65/hour
Up to one hour of time with a dance instructor with personalized coaching and instruction. This is one of the best ways to learn as an instructor is trained to help you specifically overcome challenges unique to you. Everyone learns differently and at different paces. A private dance lesson gives you the best and most efficient way to maximize what you can comfortably learn and can help you prevent and overcome bad habits that hamper the communication of dance.
Group Lessons: FREE-$20/hour
These vary by venue/instructor. We have different options available, however this is a list of our typical ongoing classes:

Group Classes at Bruno’s Italian Restaurant and Wine Bar:
Every Wednesday night at 7:00pm in Bruno’s upstairs wine bar there is a class hosted by Swing Springfield. Varying styles of swing and salsa music are played throughout the evening for your dancing pleasure!
Group Workshops: varying cost/time
These are usually isolated to single events and are typically taught with more regard to experienced dancers, though many times are separated into a progressive schedule (i.e. a beginner’s workshop followed by an intermediate/advanced workshop). Costs and times can vary widely depending on instructor/venue. These are usually great for those seeking that happy medium between a group class and a private lesson. Workshops are typically not a regularly scheduled occurrence so you’ll have to keep an eye out for them.
